It's easy, I swear! 1. Bring a deep pot of water with a shot of vinegar added to a slow boil. 2. Crack the egg (on a flat surface, not an edge or corner) and pour it into the water from the shell. 3. The egg will sink to the bottom and then begin to float up as it cooks. 4. Poke at the egg with a spoon to determine level of doneness if you are feeling timid, but really, once it floats, it's fine.
